Merry Christmas from the Mowerys!
Monty and two of his favorite girls. We went to Chiang Rai on Christmas Eve and enjoyed a wonderful Christmas dinner with some friends.

Here we are eating another Christmas dinner with our Wa brothers and sisters. We enjoyed a Thai version of hot pot. You fry the meat and boil the veggies in the soup . It was so delicious. In case you are looking for Judah he is wraped in a pink blanket under my sweater - poor boy, wrapped in pink!
Present Opening Time!!!!
The bonous of living in a Buddhist country is that the post office is open on Christmas day and surprisingly we received two boxes that morning! What a fun surprise blessing. In the top picture Manon and Henna are enjoying opening some dress up clothes that Grandma and Papa Mowery sent them. Since I have packed up most of their toys for our move they are thankful to have the dress up clothes and wear them every day. At the moment they are both in ballet leotards making up a routine to surprise me with when I get this posted. What fun girls are!
Thanks Uncle Steven and Aunt Michelle! Charolette's Webb was a hit! We took it with us to China and even Henna enjoyed listening to the story. We could hardly put it down. The girls would fall to sleep with me reading and I would stop to hear Monty say "finish the chapter at least." Our Christmas was a bit busier than I prefer with packing, and leaving on Christmas day for Chiang Mai and then to China but we still had a great time. One special gift Manon received was a tape from her Papa Mowery singing Christmas carols. She listened to it often and then while traveling entertained us by singing Christmas carols. It is no problem for her if she forgets a word - she just makes one up in its place.
