Birthday Month!

September is one of my favorite months! 3 of my children have birthdays! Ezra on the 7th, Henna on the 9th and Judah on the 30th!

Ezra, our busy 2 year old!
Ezra had a "Constructon" (transformers that are construction vehicles) German Chocolate Cake!
Manon and Henna enjoyed helping Ezra open his gifts.
And, now our 2 year old has made some specific requests - no more high chair (most days) and to get to do school with big brother - Ezra can say his vowels now!
Ezra's 2 year old birthday interview:
what is your favorite color? “Cow.”
who is your favorite person? “Cow.”
what do you want to be when you grow up? “Cow...Transformer.”
what is your favorite thing to do? “Help Transformer. Cars.”
what is your favorite thing to eat? “Transformers.”
and last one...
if you could tell the world one thing, what would it be? “Jzzch Jzzch Jzzch Jzzch jzch (sound of Transformers transforming) ... Mmmm... Car.”

Henna, our beautiful 6 year old!

Here is Henna on the morning of her big day waiting for Mommy to take her to town to buy her special birthday dress.
Henna had a princess party. You can see, Ezra came as super something (it was actually a super girl outfit).
While in town shopping we bumped into Henna's good friend Jing Jing. She just happened to be out of school and came home with us for a sleep over. It was fun to have her around. Henna loved all of her presents - especially the baby doll.
Henna's interview:

so, what is your favorite color? Blue
who is your favorite person? Jesus
what do you want to be when you grow up? A Mommy
what is your favorite thing to do? Go swimming and watching movies
what is your favorite thing to eat? Pasta
and last one...if you could tell the world one thing, what would it be? I don’t know. Manon jumped in and said, “Save the animals.”

Judah, our cleaver 4 year old!

Judah had a Ninja/Wolverine cake. He had many specific requests about his party and he reminded me of these every day for the entire month of September. First of all, the invitation list - he knew exactly who he wanted to attend and others he would not be disappointed if they could not make it. He also wanted the party at dark and requested that we give everyone a flash light for games. He planned the menu for the day of all of his favorite foods. The day began with cinnamon toast - his all time favorite.
Spencer is one of the best gift givers I know. He puts lots of thought into gifts he gives while cleaning out his room. Our kids always look forward to his gifts because they know it will be a special treasure.
Our big 4 year old! I can not believe I have a boy who is growing up so fast! He is still sweetie and I cherish my time with him. Judah decided a lot of things on his birthday - time to learn to swim, read and do real school everyday. Now, just a couple of weeks later he has learned to swim and is getting his letter sounds down!

Judah's interview:
so, what is your favorite color? Red
who is your favorite person? Daddy
what do you want to be when you grow up? A swimmer
what is your favorite thing to do? Play transformers with daddy
what is your favorite thing to eat? Cinnamon toast
and last one...if you could tell the world one thing, what would it be? Transformers

Oh my goodness, I cannot believe how fast they are growing. I will forever feel like they are all 5 and under! Crazy!
Happy birthday to them all (except Manon, of course!)
