Water Play

Play is fun but for our girls they enjoy it so much more when they have done a little work first. Here is Henna hard at work scrubbing our front porch. She is a great worker!

One of the best things about living in Thailand is playing in the water! Our girls are water girls to the core.
Manon paused in the midst of playing to pray for all of the little mongooses around the world who might have boo-boo's. We had been reminding her to pray for others when her eyes get very inward focused. For example, while combing her hair she was complaining and whining about it pulling so I told her instead of thinking about her own tender head to pray for other children who might be sick and not have the privilege of long hair as she does. She caught on and the funniest thing happened when we were having dinner with some friends and Manon prayed before we ate saying. . ."Dear God, thank you for this food and please give all the bald children hair. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
