Happy Birthday America! Manon and Henna love birthdays so we made it a point to attend the U.S. Consulate's 4th of July celebration. This is a photo of the exhausted little 3 year old, sound asleep still waving her flag. Notice what she sleeps with - her teak king cobra that her amma and appa brought her from India.
Henna got a lovely flower painted on her face. She loves to be pampered and thoroughly enjoyed the face painting so much that she kept asking for more.
This is Henna enjoying her first soda pop. Yes, we can get most pop here like Sprite, Pepsi and Coke but drinking Dr. Pepper and Cream Soda were a special treat.
Manon and Henna enjoyed the games offered at the party. You can see Manon scoring high on the ball toss and Henna is feeling a little shy as she does the ring toss. The best thing is that they both won handfuls of candy - notice Henna's black teeth as she enjoys a ride on her daddy's shoulders. I think she got his hair all sticky too!
