The last week of January was spent at Dolphin Bay Resort for a wonderful family vacation. It was a good break from our work/life in Asia before transitioning to a visit to the U.S.
Here is Ezra doing what he did most every day - sitting in the stroller watching the world go by. Thailand had a really cold spell so the pool water was a bit nippy, too cold for him so he just enjoyed watching all the fun.

Our girls enjoyed having a friend, Ellie, to play with every day of vacation. Ellie is Henna's age and they had so much fun together swimming in the ocean.
Judah was the "beer runner" for the girls. Here he is with a bucket of "beer" (ocean water) for Henna's beer bread. That is something we make often at our home because it is fast and does not require yeast. I kept seeing eye brows raise from other parents on the beach as Henna and Manon would yell at Judah, "hurry Judah, get us another bucket of beer!"

They 09 Mowery Family Beach photo! It is hard to get 12 eyes all looking at the camera at the same time and with a smile on top of that!

One of my vacation projects was teaching swim classes - I had 3 students this year, Jim, Henna and Amma Cathy. Here is a picture of Cathy working on kicking. We had 5 days together and we practiced about 40 minutes a day. At the end of the week all 3 students could swim across the pool! I was so proud of them and their hard work. Cathy worked the hardest of all and suggested that I write a book called, "Teaching your Grandma to swim." I'm still working on it:)

Here are the kiddo's enjoying a ride in a boat around the pool.

Yummy Thai food on the beach! We loved dinner's on the beach eating papaya salad, grilled chicken and sticky rice! It was great having the Ollis' with us as well as our friend the Repps.

Henna went down the slide about 500 times a day. Each night she would fall asleep before we could even get through the bed time routine.

Daddy and Ezzy playing on the beach.

Manon found a star fish and was showing it to Henna. All Henna could do was say, "Cool!"
