What an exciting day (September 9th) to celebrate Henna turning 2 years old! She loved the attention, preparation and fun involved in making her day super special. We threw a big party inviting all of our Wa brothers and sisters and a few others (over 50 total). We baked and baked for two days to have enough cake and then Manon and I worked hard at decorating the cakes. We attempted to make a little girl out of the cake that would look like Henna but in the end it favored a clown. Even though, Henna was impressed which is all that mattered. We enjoyed many games like cat and mouse, water balloon toss, and racing with balloons balencing on our heads. After the party was over (10pm) Monty and I stayed up cleaning and we left early the next morning for Chiang Mai and then on to Bangkok.
