This is Henna enjoying swinging with her buddy Rooke. Rooke and his family came for a three week visit. It was the first time for Henna and Manon to hang out with English speakers consistently - it was interesting to hear the things they would say.
Henna and Manon with their stuffed kitties ready for church. They have really become sweet friends to one another and do a great job of looking out for each other.
Manon and her good friend Momay dressed up as butterfly fairies. They love to fly around the yard chasing butterflies while pausing to eat pollen. We have had millions of butterflies fluttering through the yard in the past few months - it is amazing to watch.
These are my two wonderful helpers! They are great at washing dishes and cleaning the house. It is fun to see some of the patient training paying off.
Here is a very sweaty girl. Manon went on her first real hike up to a waterfall in Chiang Rai. She was exhausted by the time we reached the waterfall but still managed to find a few smiles. She pretended to be a mongoose hunting king cobras throughout the jungles of India during the entire hike so that helped her to keep her eyes off how tired her leg were and the fact that mommy forgot to bring along good hiking shoes so she did the entire hike in flip flops.

Good job hiking in your flip flops, Manon! That's a very sweet smile from a hiker in Thai fashion!
